Knox County Health Department and Home Health Agency

We are a Medicare/Medicaid certified State licensed agency.  We are currently a network provider for Blue Cross Anthem, Healthlink and Humana.  We are working daily to be a network provider with more private companies, and at this time will work to arrange out of network services should you need them.  Services are provided to Knox County residents who meet Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurance qualifications.  Call if you have questions about private insurance.  We will work with private insurance companies to negotiate rates if at all possible.

Home Health Services Provided:

• Skilled Nursing Visits
• Home Health Aide
• Physical Therapy
• Occupational Therapy
• Speech Therapy

Services Provided under Physicians orders.

In-Home Programs

Medicaid will provide nursing, personal aide and homemaker services to those they insure with chronic, stable health conditions.  Call for more information.

Public Health Visits

Tax dollars provide limited RN & Aide vists for county residents who meet criteria.  If additional services are requested, the fee for service schedule is used.  Call for more information.
